The post-congress tour will take place over 2 ½ days, starting in the afternoon of Friday 9^th. See more details 

Costs: € 525 (cost per person in a double room) or € 640 (cost per person in a single room).

Travel will be by coach (bus) with a professional guide speaking English.

On Friday afternoon we will visit a eucalyptus plantation forests near Coimbra and discuss forest health problems with colleagues from TheNavigator forestry company.

Dinner will be in a restaurant Luso and the accommodation will be in a 4* Hotel in Luso. Luso is a small village with a thermal spa in the Centre of Portugal.

On Saturday, 10^th  Sept., we will visit Bussaco Forest (Mata do Bussaco) which comprises an ancient arboretum with more than tree 250 species which was founded before 1628; the forest includes a small, ancient woodland with laurel and oaks;  maritime pine forests; and various ferns. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will transfer to Porto where wine tasting and dinner will be at a winery. Accommodation will be at a 4* Hotel in Porto

On Sunday, 11^th Sept. participants will have free time to explore the old city of Porto, a World heritage site.

About 16:00 hrs we will return to Lisbon by coach (bus) and arrive in Lisbon at about 19:30.
